Profile and Responsabilities
Maintain accurate fixed asset records and subledgers for U.S. and international entities.
Perform depreciation calculations and support monthly financial close activities.
Prepare monthly reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Coordinate physical asset inventories and maintain accurate inventory records.
Ensure compliance with fixed asset policies and accounting procedures.
Support audits, tax inquiries, and fixed asset system improvements.
Prepare journal entries for asset acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation.
Collaborate with global teams to resolve issues and support accounting operations.
Provide occasional after-hours support and travel as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
2+ years of progressive experience in Fixed Assets Accounting - the fixed asset lifecycle, including acquisitions, transfers, disposals, depreciation, and reconciliations
Physical Inventory Management - ability to coordinate asset counts, document results, identify exceptions, and reconcile discrepancies
Month-End Close experience
Reconciliation - to prepare and review account reconciliations and identify discrepancies
Experience using JD Edwards
Advanced English B2 85%
Flexible shifts may be required
Availability to support occasional night or weekend critical tasks
Valid passport and availability to travel, Travel up to 20%
